2nd International Nursing, Midwifery & Allied Health Congress

The 2nd International Nursing, Midwifery & Allied Health Congress took place in Abu Dhabi between 9th to 11th November under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the “Mother of the Nation,” Chair woman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chair woman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF). This Congress was graced by the esteemed presence of four Nursing Leaders of the Region.

  2. Dr. Naeema Al Gasseer, Senior Advisor to Regional Director, Eastern Mediterranean Region, World Health Organization Cario, Egypt.
  3. Dr. Sumaya Mohammed Al Blooshi, Director of Nursing Department, Emirate Health Services, President Emirates Nursing Association, Leader National Nursing & Midwifery Strategy.
  4. Dr. Fatima Rifai, Advisor for Nursing Affairs at Ministry of Health and Prevention- MOHAP, UAE.

Leading healthcare professionals and educators from across the globe converged for the event held at ADNEC, featuring five specialized tracks, over 50 renowned speakers, and more than 1,000 delegates. With the theme ‘Empower. Excel. Sustain’, this three-day congress promised to be a milestone event in the healthcare community.

The congress, organized by Burjeel Holdings and participants from over 20 countries attended this event, which offered dynamic learning and networking opportunities. The congress was a unique platform for healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge and discuss innovative solutions in clinical practice, patient care, and healthcare delivery.

Prof. Selva Titus Chacko, Dean, College of Nursing, GMU along with 3 faculty and 52 students enthusiastically attended the 2nd International Nursing, Midwifery & Allied Health Congress. 12 students of CoN, GMU were selected as Ambassadors of Congress during the event.
