The Diploma in Pharmacy Technician Program of College of Pharmacy at GMU: Accredited by NQC through VETAC

The National Qualifications Center (NQC) in the UAE accredited the Diploma in Pharmacy Technician (DPT) program. The DPT is a two–year (92 credits) program spread over 4 semesters. The DPT program equips graduates with specialized knowledge and skills to practice as pharmacy technicians in various healthcare and industrial practice settings; including hospitals, clinics, community pharmacies and pharmaceutical industry.

Pharmacy technicians are critical members of the healthcare team and are essential in providing patients with safe and effective medication therapy. A pharmacy technician works closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in diverse settings such as hospitals, community pharmacies and industry settings.

The program is meticulously designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of pharmaceutical practices and patient care. Our hands-on training equips students with practical skills, ensuring they are prepared for success in diverse healthcare settings.

Admission of the program has started and the classes will commence from September 2023.
