On October 31, 2022, GMU IVPN Student Club, in its first collaboration with IVPN-Oncology and IVPN-Student listservs, organized an online webinar to raise awareness about breast cancer under the title: “Breast Cancer Awareness: Cancer Survivorship and Novel Therapies.”
The webinar hosted 2 Oncology Pharmacists practicing in Egypt and UAE. During the webinar, both speakers discuss new therapies involved in the treatment of breast cancer and cancer survivorship. This was an informative webinar where attendees learned essential information regarding breast cancer wide treatment options and the importance of early diagnosis, as well as considering the different dimensions of the breast cancer survivor lives.
