Year three PharmD students, from College of Pharmacy Ms. Ruth Alex and Ms. Judith Don won first prize in e-poster competition organized by Gulf Medical University.

This competition was part of A-Z COURSE Organized by Gulf Medical University to all university students and Faculty. Ms. Ruth and Ms. Judith participated by e-poster describing post-COVID-19 syndrome with emphasis on the role of pharmacist and Tele- pharmacy in management and Patient Care.

Dr. Eman E-labbad, Assistant professor of Medicinal Chemistry, Director of the College of Pharmacy, Student Happiness Centre commented “This competition provided a great opportunity to highlight on the social responsibility of pharmacists during the COVID-19 pandemics, not only providing care for patient during active COVID-19 infection but also in identifying, managing, and counselling patients on post-COVID-19 symptoms that might affect the patient quality of life.“
