An Orientation program was conducted by College of Nursing to welcome the freshman batch of RNBSN students to the College on 19th September 2020. Prof. Selva Titus Chacko welcomed the batch of students and oriented them to the RN-BSN program & the University. The Dean also briefed on the challenges of learning during the new normal and assured in providing quality education, guidance, and support to the students in their journey.
Ms. Remya R. Pillai, Semester Coordinator provided the Semester Orientation and clarified all the doubts of the students regarding various courses, academic requirements, and examinations. Students were oriented by Ms. Burcu Aydin, Associate Director, Department of Students Affairs on various student engagement activities and services available for the students. Mr. Suraj Sebastian, E-learning manager explained about the e-learning platform, Moodle and oriented about the various online mode of teaching and learning methods used in the University. Mr. Daies Idiculla, Librarian, provided orientation on how to access e various e-books and e-journal resources.
An Online google meet link was created for the students who were not able to physically attend the Orientation program due to Covid-19 social distancing and PCR testing protocols.
