Associate professor in Pathology department, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. Consultant of pathology at pathology labs of Ain Shams University and specialized Hospitals. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, in 2005 with a grade of “Excellent”. Obtained a Master’s degree in Pathology in 2010 and a Doctorate in Pathology in 2015 at Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University. With 16 years of experience in teaching general and systemic pathology to medical undergraduate and postgraduate students, responsibilities have included participating in research activities, supervising Master’s and M.D. candidates, and developing questions for question banks. Clinical expertise encompasses dissection of gross pathological specimens, microscopic examination and diagnosis of biopsy, resection, and cytology specimens, as well as analyzing immunohistochemical and special stains results. Proficiency in interpreting clinical and laboratory data, with effective communication with clinicians and patients, and correlating biochemical, microbiological, and radiological studies with pathology findings to formulate differential diagnoses is well established. Additionally, capable of writing comprehensive pathology reports within appropriate turnaround times and examining and diagnosing frozen sections, with many published research papers in the field.
