Dr. Mahmood Juma Ali Helal Abbas is a Bahraini medical professional and clinical tutor at Gulf Medical University UAE, with a strong focus on healthcare education and clinical practice. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Medical Sciences, complemented by extensive training across public and private healthcare sectors in Bahrain and the UAE.
Currently pursuing a Master’s in Health Professions Education (MHPE), managing the surgery program and mentoring MBBS students during their clinical years in Thumbay University Hospital. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS). He also possesses expertise as an instructor in Basic Surgical Skills (BSS), Basic Orthopedic Skills (BOS), and AHA certified Basic Life Support Instructor.
Driven by a passion for teaching and research, he continuously strives to advance medical education and contribute to the professional development of future healthcare practitioners.
