MS Anatomy
Dr. Liju Susan Mathew MBBS, MS, FAcadMEd, Alumni of Gulf Medical University (GMU). Earned the medical degree, MBBS, Gulf Medical University, 2006, continued with Masters of Surgery in Anatomy from Christian Medical College, India, 2010, Graduate Diploma in Health Professions Education in 2014, and Fellowship of the Academy of Medical Educators, 2021.
She is a course chair and member of various modules and committees across the many programs at the university and ScholarRx faculty advisor. And have extensive experience in teaching across the undergraduate – Medical, Dental, and Allied courses.
Her interests include setting methodology and innovative pedagogue for Anatomy education, and maintaining the traditional values in both the laboratory and lecture hall across developmental, morphological, and functional anatomy. And integrating basic clinical sciences courses to the learning needs of clinical anatomy for the students in the various courses offered at GMU. She also facilitates advanced learning through the multi-modal approach including – the usage of the digital platform, dissection workshops, providing opportunities for learners, and most readily enabling them towards enhanced lifelong learning skills and focus on integrating and aligning basic science medical education for clinical care outcomes.
