Dr. Omaimah Toufiq
Dr. Omaimah Toufiq currently serves as a Preceptor and Experiential Education Coordinator in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Gulf Medical University, UAE, and currently serves as a hospital pharmacist at Thumbay University Hospital. She is also pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy, further strengthening her expertise in patient care and evidence-based practice.
With a strong academic background and a passion for clinical pharmacy, Dr. Toufiq has gained experience in infectious diseases, pediatrics, internal medicine, and hospital pharmacy operations. She actively mentors students, guiding them through hands-on clinical experiences and fostering their professional growth. Her research interests and commitment to continuous learning enhance her contributions to pharmacy education and patient care.
