Newly joined PharmD students of the College of Pharmacy (admitted in September 2019) began their professional journey by donning their white coats on 12 September, 2019 at the Gulf Medical University (GMU) premises. This solemn function was presided by Dr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder President, Board of trustees, GMU. Prof. Hossam Hamdy, the Chancellor of Gulf Medical University delivered the speech and emphasized the professional goals and responsibilities of the budding health professionals. He also highlighted the ever changing trends in healthcare delivery and urged the students to be a part of the medical revolution. Prof. Manda Venkatramana, Vice Provost Academics administered the pledge for the students. Prof. Sherief Khalifa, the Dean, and other Faculty members of the College of Pharmacy wished the students a wonderful professional journey ahead.
