Virginia Commonwealth University Exchange student publishes her research with GMU mentor

On Friday April 10, 2020, Ms. Arzu (Pharm.D candidate) from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU, USA) published an article (Abstract ahead of Print) in Current Pharmaceutical Design (CPD) with impact factor 2.41. This systematic review was conducted in Gulf Medical University (GMU) under the supervision of Dr. Syed Wasif Gillani during research internship in November 2019.

Dean Khalifa commented: Arzu was an exemplary exchange student and we are very glad she was able to visit us and spend time with our GMU PharmD students, faculty and preceptors. We are also delighted that her work with Dr. Gillani resulted in a peer reviewed publication documenting the strong academic relationship between VCU and GMU. We look forward to receiving more students like Arzu in the future to enrich our global campus with more international experiences.
