On October 3, 2019 we were pleased to have Dr. Wafa Y. Dahdal, Director of International Programs & Associate Director of Professional Development, American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) visit with us at GMU, College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Dahdal toured our college of pharmacy and visited our new Thumbay University Hospital and Thumbay Hospital, Ajman where she observed our Clinical Pharmacist Preceptors in action as they provided clinical services to our patients and served as role models for our students.
Dr. Dahdal gave a presentation to College of Pharmacy faculty and students titled “Setting Standards and Advancing Clinical Pharmacy” Dean Khalifa commented: We are pleased to team up with the world’s leading organization in spreading and enhancing clinical pharmacy practices globally. We look forward to their continued input and advice as we move forward.
