On September 11, 2023 Dr. Khalifa was appointed to the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Hub as a Global Lead with for the Quality Assurance Development goal.
On September 13, 2023 Dr. Khalifa was elected was elected to serve a four-year term on the FIP AIM Advisory Committee. The committee, which represents all World Health Organization (WHO) regions, is comprised of a 12-member advisory board representing the six WHO regions. He will be representing the Eastern Mediterranean Region until September 2027.
Dr. Khalifa commented: “It is an honor and a privilege to work with the largest and most influential organization impacting and advancing pharmacy worldwide. I look forward to serving in these new and exciting roles”.
