PharmD Class of 2017 Bids Farewell to Their College

Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) interns of the PharmD program gathered at the College of Pharmacy to celebrate the completion of their educational journey to become professional pharmacists. They are the 5th cohort of students graduating from the Gulf Medical University’s College of Pharmacy.

Through the past five years and a few months, they have matured into confident, knowledgeable and skilled professionals ready to join the pharmacy workforce and to lead the change in the profession and work with their fellow healthcare team members to serve their patients. Some of them will be joining the profession in UAE and abroad and others will be joining graduate programs in clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.

The faculty who prepared this cohort of students to be where they are today are happy to see them ready to start a new journey with confidence and enthusiasm.

Associate Dean, Dr. Kishore Gnana Sam Sundararaj encouraged the graduating students to keep in contact with their college and to visit from time to time to seek help and advice from their professors.
