Gulf Medical University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with British Pharmacological Society

On January 29, 2019, Gulf Medical University signed a new agreement with British Pharmacological Society (BPS) to provide the Prescribing Skills Assessment (PSA) to our Students and Faculty.  Having access to the PSA allows our PharmD students to demonstrate their competencies in relation to the safe and effective use of medications.

Dean Khalifa commented: The PSA will be used for all GMU Pharm D students in year 4 and 5. The aim is to improve their prescribing skills and make them readier for clinical pharmacy roles within UAE and internationally. College of Pharmacy Preceptors will also take the test as part of their faculty development program and to aid in their role as competent preceptors for our PharmD and Master in Clinical Pharmacy students.
