Gulf Medical University (GMU) marked another milestone in its legacy of academic excellence with the successful conclusion of its Annual Convocation 2024. The event celebrated the accomplishments of over 500 graduates across six colleges, representing more than 15 diverse specialties. The convocation was a moment of pride for the university as graduates from medicine, pharmacy, nursing, dentistry, healthcare management and artificial intelligence, and health sciences stepped forward to receive their well-earned degrees.
The College of Pharmacy contributed significantly to this year’s cohort, with graduates from the PharmD, Master in Clinical Pharmacy, and Master of Science in Drug Discovery and Development programs. These graduates represent the next generation of pharmaceutical leaders, ready to contribute to advancing healthcare locally and globally.
Following the formal convocation proceedings, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, accompanied by the esteemed faculty, joined the pharmacy graduates for celebratory group photos. The atmosphere was filled with joy and pride as faculty and graduates reflected on the hard work and dedication that culminated in this monumental achievement.
