On June 27, 2025, Prof. Dixon Thomas and Dr. Seeba Zachariah of GMU College of Pharmacy presented at the Forbidden City International Pharmacist Conference 2025 in Beijing, China. The conference was themed at ‘Establishment of Value-based Pharmacy Service System-Integration, Innovation, Intelligence and Rights’.
Prof. Dixon presented on ‘Leveraging Communication Theories to Improve Medication Safety’ and ‘Navigating Moral Hazard in Pharmacoeconomics: Balancing Costs and Care’. Dr. Seeba presented on ‘Treating Rare Cardiovascular Conditions: A Clinical Pharmacist’s Perspective from the UAE’ and ‘Interprofessional perspectives on Anti-Inflammatory Nutrition’. The conference was attended by pharmacists, research scholars, faculty and students from all over China and multiple other countries.
