GMU’s Dr. Ibrahim ElSayed Presents his research at DUPHAT

Dr. Ibrahim Elsayed, Associate Dean – Academic of the College, has participated in DUPHAT conference conducted in Dubai during the period 25th-27th February with an oral and poster presentation of a research entitled; “Liver Targeting of Sofosbuvir Loaded in Taurocholate-Stabilized Galactose-Anchored Nanovesicles”. The research work was performed in collaboration with researchers from Cairo University and the National Research Institute of Egypt, and co-authored by Dr. Ahmed Thabet, Chair of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department, College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University.

DUPHAT is the premier Pharmaceutical and Technology event in the Middle East launched in 1995. The event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, UAE and President of Dubai Health Authority.
