On June 3, 2024, Dr. Ahmad El Ouweini, Clinical Lecturer, College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University and Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist, Thumbay University Hospital delivered a live presentation to the GMU College of Pharmacy faculty regarding the key lessons and observations he gained throughout his 1-week professional visit to the UK between May 10 -16.
Most importantly, during his presentation, Dr. El Ouweini discussed with the faculty the implications of these best pharmacy practices he observed in the UK on advancing GMU/TUH practice, education, and research. The recommendations that came out of the fruitful discussion will be handled and achieved by the GMU CoP team over the next academic year (2024-25) as academic and professional milestones.
