On February 12, 2020, 5th year PharmD students published an article on the nutritional requirements and assessment techniques for patients with diabetes mellitus and chronic renal disease (CKD). This research article is supervised by Dr. Syed Wasif Gillani (Assoc. Prof) department of Pharmacy Practice, College of Pharmacy, GMU. The article is published in Print Ahead abstract form currently and soon available for scientific community. Current Diabetes review is a reputed journal and currently indexed with: Pubmed/Medline, SCOPUS, ISI (ESCI) and other databases as well. This publication showed practice knowledge and research competencies in the pharmacy students’ of GMU. Students’ are working passionately and developing research skills under the supervision of highly qualified and dedicated faculty members. This experience prepares PharmD students to become competent pharmacists who engage in research that improves practice early in their professional career professional.
All the faculty members of College of Pharmacy congratulated the students on the successful publication of their article and on contributing knowledge to scientific community. The College of Pharmacy continues its efforts in advancing the research skills and competencies development among Pharmacy students.
