The College of Pharmacy at Gulf Medical University launched its Fellowship in Clinical Pharmacy Research program in Fall 2022 in collaboration with Washington State University. The GMU-WSU Fellowship is a 2-year program and is the first of its kind in the Middle East. The main driving force for initiating this program is to create opportunities for pharmacists to become “clinician-scientists” and to establish an academic path for excellent clinical pharmacists to pursue an academic career side by side with their careers in practice.
