A Faculty development workshop on “Assessment & Evaluation” was conducted at Gulf Medical University, on January 5, 6, and 7 with focus on quality improvement. The workshop was led by Chancellor Hossam Hamdy and Vice Chancellor Academics, Manda Venkatramana. The program was attended by all GMU faculty members of various colleges, including the College of Pharmacy. Improvement of the quality of academic programs, closing the loop, faculty evaluation, student assessment and program learning outcomes assessment were the focus of the three days retreat.
