Dr. Sherief Khalifa was nominated and then elected as a member of ACPE international commission. He will begin to serve as commissioner in February 2021 for a period of three years, renewable. From now until then, he serves as “commissioner elect”.
The mission of ACPE International Services Program is to promote, assure, and advance the quality of pharmacy education internationally to improve patient care through safe and effective medication use.

This appointment represents an international recognition and testimony of the quality of the College of Pharmacy and its programs at Gulf Medical University. It should be noted that GMU is the only university in UAE that is represented in the ACPE international commission.
