To provide a practical application of the concepts discussed, the students engaged in a hands-on drug design assignment. Utilizing an online drug discovery platform called mcule, they were tasked with optimizing the properties of potential anticancer compounds. This practical exercise allowed them to experience firsthand the process of optimizing drug candidates using computational tools.
