Dr. Dixon Thomas participates in a Pharmacy Practice Summit in India

Dr. Dixon Thomas, Chair, Department of Pharmacy Practice, Gulf Medical University was invited as chief guest in a Pharmacy Practice Summit in India on April 19-20, 2019. The summit was organized by 4 Pharmacy Colleges in Punjab;

  • Indo-Soviet Friendship College of Pharmacy
  • MMU College of Pharmacy
  • Adesh Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences

The summit was supported by Indian Pharmaceutical Association and Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers in India.

In the Expert Session I, Current Global Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice Services; Dr. Dixon lectured on expected competencies of pharmacy graduates with international perspectives. The panel discussion included stakeholders from health professions, representatives from regulatory agencies and the pharmaceutical industry.
