On May 25, 2023, Dr. Bassam Atallah, Senior Pharmacotherapy Specialist and Clinical Associate Professor at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi visited Thumbay University Hospital (TUH), Gulf Medical University’s campus hospital. He toured the facility, engaged in discussions with clinical pharmacists, clinical pharmacy preceptors, physicians from different specialties and PharmD students undergoing Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE).
Dr. Bassam also met with the Medical Director of TUH, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and the Associate Dean Clinical, College of Pharmacy and provided valuable feedback to help advance clinical pharmacy practice at Thumbay University Hospital.
