The fourth-semester students of the Diploma in Pharmacy Technician Program at the College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University, participated in an intensive one-day hands-on training session on Pharmacy Automation at Gulf Drug on February 28, 2025. This specialized training, integral to their Pharmacy Automation module, was conducted by industry experts from Gulf Drug, alongside Dr. Khalid Abdel Dayem, Senior Manager of Automation and Informatics Services at the Pharmacy Services Department, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. The session provided an invaluable opportunity for students to gain firsthand experience with advanced automation technologies, reinforcing their theoretical knowledge and enhancing their readiness for real-world pharmacy practice.
