On October 02, 2019, Dr. Syed Wasif Gillani from College of Pharmacy GMU conducted a research seminar on the safety assessment and quality of life improvement strategies among patients with diabetes mellitus. This seminar focused on three main themes;
- Randomized control trials of Ascorbic acid in the management of Diabetes related complications
- Factors predicting quality of life among insulin user
- Prognostic and Psychosocial management effects of Diabetes on Overall Survival & Cancer-specific survival of cervical cancer patients.
Discussions were made on the analysis techniques as well as study designs to determine variable effect on diabetes management and improvement in overall quality of life during treatment.
All the faculty members of college of pharmacy together with Dean (Prof. Sherief) & clinical preceptors attended the seminar and discussed about the future prospects of research in Thumbay hospitals, UAE.
