On November 8, 2020, Gulf Medical University hosted a career counseling session for, PharmD students as part of the career talk series in the “Own Your Future” program organized by the college of pharmacy career advising office and students’ happiness center. The session was given by dr. Ola Adel, Head Compliance and Quality Systems, Novartis, Basel Switzerland.
During the session Dr. Ola described the role and responsibilities of pharmacist working in pharmaceutical industry and production in area of quality and compliance. Dr. Ola shed the light on the specialized training and requirement needed to progress in quality control/ compliance department in pharmaceutical industry.
At the end of the session, Dr. Ola answered students’ questions and inquiries about pharmaceutical industry and production career specially in quality system and compliance section.
