On November 26, 2019, a group of fourth year Ajman University bachelor of pharmacy students concluded their [Hospital Pharmacy Training-I] program at GMU affiliated Thumbay Hospital Ajman. This training was provided under the supervision of GMU College of Pharmacy Faculty and Preceptors following a structured training program tailored to their program needs. Students were assigned to multiple rotations including Infectious Disease, In-patient pharmacy and Disease State Management with pre-specified objectives as per their program requirements.
National and international pharmacy students from different universities have applied to the College of Pharmacy Clinical Training program which is offered by the College in Gulf Medical University affiliated Thumbay Hospitals as part of the Academic Health System. This system links healthcare, education and research functions driven by the interactions between itself and its academic partners. This provides a great opportunity for students to get the best hands-on-training and maximize their learnings.
