Gulf Medical University, College of Medicine held its annual White Coat Ceremony for its new MBBS, BBMS and ADPCS students on September 5, 2018. In this symbolic event, students of 2018 batch took the oath and proudly put on their white coats in an inspirational and moving event that was attended by students, families, college and university officials.
Dr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder President, Board of Trustees was the Chief Guest and presided over the ceremony. Chancellor, Professor Hossam Hamdy delivered the ceremony speech and welcomed the students of their chosen professions. Vice Provost Academics Provost, Professor Manda Venkatramana, led the recitation of the pledge in a solemn ceremony attended by the Dean and faculty members who welcomed the students into the programs and wished them a fruitful professional journey.
