To be a leading executive program in healthcare management and economics in the region known for its practice oriented clinical approach to decision making.

Program Mission

The mission of the Executive Master in Healthcare Management and Economics is to provide health­care executive with the tools, knowledge and skills needed to become an effective socially responsible leader capable of handling today’s complex and highly competitive healthcare industry environment. The program is grounded on a unique integrative approach that leverage the relations with both medi­cal colleges and the healthcare industry including hospitals, pharmacy chain, clinics and labs in order to produce a culturally sensitive graduates.

EMHME Program Goals

  1. Develop a supportive and engaging intellectual learning and practice-oriented curriculum based on critical thinking, problem solving, and innovation that’s capable of addressing special­ized complex issues in the health industry.
  2. Craft a unique integrative approach of learning grounded on providing students with essential medical knowledge and practice-oriented curriculum by leveraging relationship with medical colleges and GMU affiliated hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, labs and insurance business.
  3. Provide students with leading edge knowledge and techniques in health economics, policy and healthcare management to allow them to manage strategic change, deal with complex health­care policy issues and be effective leader in the health industry.
