Training Session on Health Information Systems – Thumbay University Hospital

“Second year BSc. in Healthcare Management and Economics (BSc.HME) students attended the training session on April 7, 2022, for the Health Information System, Informatics, and E-Health course at Thumbay University Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Lubna Abdel Jawad.

By the end of this course the students should be able to:

1. Recognize the different components of Health Information Systems (HIS).
2. Explain the process of accessing and sharing medical information across HIS
3. Discuss Health information system functions
