Digital Health is the most talked about topic in healthcare these days and new devices are coming into the market every day. On the other hand, the benefit of even a simple glucometer has not reached the masses. A recent publication by Dr. Vinaytosh Mishra (Thumbay College of Management and AI in Healthcare, Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE) and fellow researchers from Deakin University and the Swinburne University of Technology, Australia discuss this phenomenon in their recent article entitled “What is holding back glucometer use? -A comparative study of rural and urban India”.
