
Ms. Gadala Priyanka, a PharmD student from Bharat Institute of Technology, Hyderabad India has successfully completed 200 hours of Clinical Pharmacy training offered by College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University (GMU) at Thumbay Hospital, Ajman during the period May 20, 2019 to June 26, 2019. Thumbay Hospital, Ajman is the first private JCI accredited teaching hospital in Ajman. The hospital is part of Academic Health System of Gulf Medical University; https://gmu.ac.ae/.
National and international pharmacy students are invited to apply to the clinical training program. The training is customized based on the need of the student or pharmacist. Currently we are training Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy and Master in Clinical Pharmacy students from UAE and abroad.
Training is provided in different clinical specialty areas with direct supervision from experienced clinical pharmacists, pharmacy practice faculty, and other healthcare professionals on collaborative clinical pharmacy practice. Being an educational leader of clinical pharmacy in the UAE with Doctor of Pharmacy and Master in Clinical Pharmacy programs, the College has a strong and effective system in place for the training.
