Dubai, UAE – April 17, 2025 — Year 4 pharmacy students from Gulf Medical University visited the regional headquarters of L’Oréal Middle East as part of their Pharmaceutical Marketing course. The visit offered students a dynamic learning experience through interactive discussions focused on digital marketing trends, brand development strategies within L’Oréal’s Dermatology Division, and emerging career opportunities.

Mr. Karim Elmery, Head of Young Talent – MENA at L’Oréal Middle East; Mr. Ahmed Hamouda, Medical Training Manager – GCC; and Mr. Elfatih Mahgoub from the marketing Division led the sessions and engaged closely with the students.
Students participated actively throughout the visit, posing thoughtful questions—including inquiries about recent controversies related to certain L’Oréal products. The L’Oréal team addressed the queries transparently and from a scientific standpoint, encouraging open dialogue and critical thinking. The visit left a lasting impression on our students, inspiring them to think beyond traditional pharmacy roles and explore innovative pathways at the intersection of health, beauty, and pharmacy.
