Diploma in Pharmacy Technician Students underwent Pharmacy Automation Training at BD Company

The Semester four students of the Diploma in Pharmacy Technician Program at the College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University, underwent a one-day hands-on training session on Pharmacy Automation at Becton Dickinson on February 4, 2025. This training, part of their Pharmacy Automation module, was conducted by experts from BD, along with Dr. Khalid Abdel Dayem, Senior Manager of Automation and Informatics Services, Pharmacy Services Department, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. This valuable experience significantly enhanced the students’ understanding of the practical applications of pharmacy automation, bridging the gap between their theoretical knowledge and clinical practice.
