GMU Pharmacy Students Engage in Career-Building Opportunities at the 6th Edition of the Pharmacy Career Conference by PRA

On January 25, 2025, pharmacy students from the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Diploma in Pharmacy Technician programs at Gulf Medical University (GMU) participated in the 6th edition of the Pharmacy Career Conference, organized by Professionals Regulatory Affairs (PRA). Hosted at Saudi German Hospital in Dubai, the event successfully brought together professionals, students, and academics from various sectors of the pharmacy profession.

The conference provided an invaluable platform for knowledge exchange, featuring discussions on essential career strategies such as networking, professional development, and navigating diverse career pathways in pharmacy. Topics ranged from pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory affairs to academia, forensic toxicology, and career transition strategies.

A highlight of the event was the participation of Salama Alhammadi, a 4th-year PharmD student at GMU, who took on the role of session moderator, demonstrating the leadership and excellence nurtured at GMU.
