GMU’s Dr. Ahmad El Ouweini Presents His Postdoctoral Fellowship Research Poster at the Pharmacy Practice Research Special Interest Group (PPR SIG) Virtual Congress 2024 of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP)

As Dr. Ahmad El Ouweini – Clinical Lecturer, College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University and Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist, Thumbay University Hospital – is rounding up his 2-year postdoctoral clinical pharmacy research fellowship joint program between GMU and Washington State University, he presented his 2nd-year critical care-focused research abstract at the Pharmacy Practice Research Special Interest Group (PPR SIG) Virtual Congress 2024 organized by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). Dr. El Ouweini’s research titled: The Impact of Pharmacist-led IV-to-Po Switch in a Tertiary Care Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit: A Before-and-After Study” discussed the outcomes of one of the clinical pharmacy services that he introduced to Intensive Care Unit at Thumbay University Hospital.
