GMU Pharmacy Students Boost their Pharmacy Automation Skills at Becton Dickinson’s (BD) Safety and Clinical Excellence Lab

On the 30th of November, Year four Pharm.D. students of GMU had the privilege of participating in a demonstrational and educational visit to the Safety and Clinical Excellence Lab of Becton Dickinson (BD) in Dubai. BD is a prominent global medical technology company committed to developing innovative solutions for the next generation diagnostics and therapeutics applications. Students were actively engaged with live demonstrations and hand own sessions on various pharmacy automation technologies on medication supply, refill systems, dispensing robots and IV workflow. Students developed a practical understanding of the application of pharmacy automation technologies, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world implementation.
