On October 2nd, 2023, the College of Pharmacy at Gulf Medical University inaugurated the first cohort of the Diploma in Pharmacy Technician program with an orientation session meticulously arranged and executed by the dedicated faculty and teaching staff.

The day commenced with an inspiring address by Professor Sherief Khalifa, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Vice Chancellor of Quality and Institutional Effectiveness. Professor Khalifa warmly welcomed the incoming students, offering them words of encouragement and invaluable guidance. He illuminated the distinctive features of the Diploma in Pharmacy Technician program; emphasizing its exceptional learning environment, focus on work-based learning, and opportunities within the healthcare sector.

Following this, faculty members and teaching staff from the College of Pharmacy took the stage to provide in-depth insights into various program aspects and student-centric services.
