On September 9th, 2023, a comprehensive training session, conducted by Dr. Eman El-labbad, Assistant Dean of Assessment and Evaluation; Dr. Juny Sebastain, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice; and Dr. Ruth Alex, Preceptor at the College of Pharmacy, for 2024 APPE Students. The session featured an insightful discussion on the conceptual framework of the Current Mentor-Based e-Portfolio Project, that is designed to provide continuous guidance and support to students to ensure attainment of all Program learning outcomes at the point of graduation.

During the session, the students received training on the application of university latest educational tool, an electronic portfolio platform developed by the Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness (QA&IE) team. The primary aim of the training was to support APPE students in making use of the full potential of this innovative tool to reflect on their attainment of the PharmD Program learning outcomes. The session also included training on the Reflective Writing Process with emphasis on its significance in capturing personal growth and development during their educational pursuit.
