PharmD. students at the College of Pharmacy Ms. Rand Rabadi and Ms. Ghenwa Ghayad won the second-place award in the “Best Patient Counseling Competition” in the First International Conference for Pharmacy Students which was held during March 20 and 21, 2023 at the University of Sharjah. Our students presented patient-pharmacist centered video that tackled the major counseling tips pharmacists should council patients about the use of inhalers. The counseling video highlighted the indications, side effects, instructions on the appropriate use, and take-home message that should be delivered by the pharmacist.
