College of Pharmacy Faculty and Students Contribute to the Research Day at Gulf Medical University

The COP participated in the Research Day which was held between March 9 and 10 in Gulf Medical University, United Arab Emirates. Research Day is an annual event at Gulf Medical University that hosts keynote speakers from around the world to present their notable research achievements. This annual event is also a platform for GMU academic faculty members, healthcare practitioners, and students from different fields to present their scholarly work and embark on more interprofessional research initiatives. Master in Clinical Pharmacy, Master of Science in Drug Discovery and Development, and PharmD. students at the COP under the faculty supervision presented their research and thesis projects through an active engagement in student poster sessions.

During the research day, Dr. Diana Malaeb, College of Pharmacy was recognized for her outstanding contribution in advancing the research agenda of the College of Pharmacy and the University. Dr. Diana achieved the highest number of Scopus indexed research publications for the calendar year 2022.
