Between February 10th and 17th, The International Pharmaceutical Student Federation organized the Pharmacy Career Summit Event. This program creates a gate for student pharmacists to explore the wide range of career paths in Pharmacy and a chance to have unparalleled understanding of each career. On one of the sessions, February 12th, Dr. Ahmad El Ouweini, Clinical Lecturer, GMU College of Pharmacy and Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist, Preceptor at Thumbay University Hospital, was invited to deliver a Career Development online session to over 180 students from both the Eastern Mediterranean and Pan American Regions. During his session, Dr. El Ouweini explained the role of clinical pharmacist within the hospital healthcare setting, discussed the professional development paths for a clinical pharmacist. He also recognized the difference between clinical and hospital pharmacist and provided the attendees with 4 lessons to become an influential millennial pharmacist.
