College of Pharmacy Students Contribute to the 28th Dubai International Pharmaceutical & Technologies Conference & Exhibition – DUPHAT

The College of Pharmacy (CoP) participated in the 28th Dubai International Pharmaceutical & Technologies Conference & Exhibition which was held between 10-12 January in World Trade Center Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Master’s and PharmD students at the CoP under the faculty supervision presented their research and thesis projects through an active engagement in poster and oral presentations.

The COP students at Gulf Medical University were also awarded different prizes in recognition of their outstanding contribution and novelty of the presented research. The prizes won by our students reflect the outstanding and endless contribution and dedication of both our students and faculty members.

Thus, the following students received prizes:

  • Bilal Nemmar, Ibrahim Mustafa, Aisha Muhammed, and Wafaa Laith supervised by Dr. Ahmed Thabet won the second prize.
  • Mariam Sherif Mohammed supervised by Dr. Seeba Zachariah won the fourth prize.
  • Omnia Salah, Riyad Kaimah, and Mohammed Khan supervised by Dr. Mohamad Shorbagy won the fifth prize.

The congress was a notable venue for exposing COP to scholars and researchers from around the globe, as well as for networking and share of experience.
