The 2nd edition of the MENA Pharmacy Congress took place in Abu Dhabi on June 17th – 18th, 2022. Fathima Sheik Kather and Keerthana Selvaraju, both Senior PharmD students from the College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University, represented GMU COP in this conference and participated as delegates where they both networked and updated themselves with current knowledge in the Pharmacy world of innovation.
They met with Dr. Osama Tabbara, Founder and President of IVPN-Network, who had previously taught them the elective course “Clinical Problems in Parenteral Nutrition and IV Therapy”, and many other IVPNneers who they previously could only meet online.
This congress also was an eye-opening experience for these students, who will soon be entering APPE rotations.
