On March 11th, 2022, in honor of International Women’s Day, Gulf Medical University Pharmacy Students Association (GPSA) hosted a panel discussion to celebrate the wonderful role model women in the pharmacy field!
Dr. Jumana Al-Salloum, Dr. Reham Khaled, Dr. Regina Aspevelasco, and Dr. Eman El-Labbad, who are teaching faculty and practicing pharmacists at GMU, discussed their journey in the world of pharmacy and about the women’s influence on the pharmacy landscape, amongst other things.
They also answered audience questions and gave future pharmacists a glimpse at the road ahead.
Such panel discussions serve as an inspirational model for the young generation to follow and craft their own influential career path.
