Preceptor Development: Assessment in Experiential Education

On March 10, 2022, an internal preceptor development event was conducted for the GMU College of Pharmacy employed preceptors. The event was mostly focused on identifying areas of improvement in PharmD APPE evaluation form. A taskforce was created to incorporate missing elements if any in the new UAE competency framework. The event also had active discussions on applying best practices learned from the GMU conducted conference “Quality Measurement in Health Professions Education Revisiting the Metrics” February 25-27, 2022.
