Master in Clinical Pharmacy (MCP) students at the College of Pharmacy, GMU successfully completed their Research Thesis Defense examination from August 02 to 05, 2021. On August 4, 2021, Prof. Danial Baker was in a panel of examiners to evaluate 2 students. The panel of examiners included a pharmacy professional from Gulf Medical University, a senior medical professional from Thumbay University Hospital, and Prof. Baker, Washington State University, USA. One of the residents of Prof. Baker, Ms. Regan Smith also joined the examination as an observer.

The thesis work spread over one full year. Students were able to complete their research starting from conceiving the idea, Institutional Review Board approval, data collection, analysis, preparation of a research manuscript and thesis before finally defending their work before the examination panel.
